Your Short Game Sanctuary offers a number of facilities for you to enjoy including a 9 Hole course, indoor range, indoor and outdoor putting greens, chipping areas, Golf Simulator, Cafe/Bar and Meeting Room.
We also offer free parking, Wifi and even accommodation!
9 Hole Course
Maxwell's boasts a picturesque, yet challenging, 9 hole golf course offering eight par-3 holes plus one par-4 hole. Holes vary in distance from 110m to 233m and each hole has been designed with both Championship and beginner tees available. Lakes, creeks and bunkers are strategically placed to help sharpen your short game! Maxwell's is fully affiliated for women and men.
Indoor Range
Attached to the clubhouse is an indoor training complex. The area is fully netted, is 16m long with a very high stud; and is equipped with four bays, indoor putting green and chipping facility. A great place to warm up before you play - or to get your swing grooved with some coaching tips! We now have a golf simulator that we use to analyse your swing!
Putting Green
Next to The Clubhouse we have a 9 hole putting green. The green features several slopes and undulations to you can practice all types of putts. Next to the green is a large grass area where you can practice chipping onto the green. If the weather gets wet you can pop inside and use our indoor putting green and range.
Golf Simulator
Our new golf simulator tracks 16 different ball data parameters all as soon as you hit each shot! Mevo+ is trusted by some of the games best players including Bubba Watson and Byson DeChambeau. Play courses like Augusta, Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass and The Old Course at St Andrews! You can also play NZ courses like Kauri Cliffs.
