Golf at Maxwells

Maxwells is your short game sanctuary. We offer a challenging 9 hole golf course, indoor and outdoor putting greens, indoor range, golf simulator and outdoor chipping area. We also offer individual golf lessons, group golf clinics and on course lessons.

9 Hole Golf Course

Our Par 28 9 hole course will challenge and sharpen your short game. Holes range from 110m to 233m with plenty of bunkers and water hazards to keep you focused!

Golf Lessons

Kaye Maxwell is our teaching pro who played competitive golf for 25 years, representing Auckland and NZ along the way. Kaye keeps lessons simple and is a member of NZPGA Coaches.

Group Clinics

We offer 3 group clinics per week where you can learn golf with other keen golfers. Lessons are indoors and outdoors and include all aspects of the game of golf, especially short game.

Golf Simulator

Our golf simulator is used for lessons to show key swing data. Players can also play courses from around the world including Augusta, St Andrews, Pebble Beach and Kauri Cliffs!

Many golfers are more concerned with hitting the ball long than working on their short game. But, what they don't realize is that your short game is the key to shooting lower scores. Gary Player
